Hours after being offered a job from a NASA contractor, Sam dropped everything to go all in as a political news and celebrity portrait photographer in DC. Sam was inevitably drawn to wedding photography as a space to promote more inventive ideas. His focus is on photographic techniques which, though deceptively simple, have potential to transform difficult or uninspiring shooting environments into one of a kind opportunities for every photo created.

Preset - My workhorse preset built to work in any condition with minimal adjustments. Gainstage trends yellow and orange colors toward a golden hue, and leverages the legendary Midtone 41 for warmly balanced tone.


Gainstage Soft

Preset - A specially modified version of Gainstage that is more forgiving with skin tones. Gainstage Soft is particularly well suited for shiny skin, and harsh/direct sunlight.

Tool - Utilizes a separate BitDepth profile anticipating a JPEG file for a “cooked”and final look.
