I am Carlos Carnero, a wedding photographer in Mexico. |
Since I was a child I had the curiosity to create. I love to create. I loved board games. I loved Legos more than any other toy. It was from there where art became present in my life.
It was at university where I discovered my purpose. I studied Civil Engineering, and I found my passion for photography. Today I know that I was created to be behind a camera. I worked a year in the field of construction, but decided to dedicate myself full time as a wedding photographer to focus on my style.
My lifestyle, the engineering (why I like the symmetry, the lines and the order), the music I listen to, the cinema (Nolan being my favorite director because of the way it makes you think of each movie) is what that inspires me in every photo I take.
My creative process starts from where I see a place. The first thing I want to find is the detail that helps me to have a strong composition, even the couple can be another element in the painting. Then, what I think is how to make that picture have impact. I try to get it out of the ordinary. And finally I finish with the editing, by correcting colors or re-accommodating the composition to make it more noticeable.
I identify with DVLOP. They are always in motion. They do different things. The creative process is more simple and elegant. DVLOP allows me to enjoy the freedom to create. And the best thing is that they create a unique workflow. The best thing that can happen to you when you are fulfilling your assignment is to find the resources that allow you to demonstrate your talent and abilities.
